VANCOUVER, Wash. – September 6, 2005 – Vancouvercenter today announced that Wells Fargo has leased more than 7,600 square feet in the mixed-use community’s North Office Tower. Wells Fargo plans to use the fifth-floor space to relocate 15 members of its Private Client Services staff from their current location at 1111 Main St. in downtown Vancouver.
Wells Fargo’s lease at Vancouvercenter enables the company to expand its Private Client Services operations and accommodate its growing staff in Vancouver. The company anticipates moving its Private Client Services office into Vancouvercenter later this year.
“We’re pleased to welcome an industry leader like Wells Fargo to Vancouvercenter, and we’re proud that they recognize Vancouvercenter’s value as a key component in downtown development,” said Nawzad Othman, owner’s representative for Vandevco, the developer of Vancouvercenter.
“Clark County is one of the fastest-growing areas in the Northwest, and Vancouver is well on its way to an urban renaissance,” said Renee Newman of Vancouver, the local manager of Wells Fargo’s Private Client Services. “The Vancouvercenter space will enable us to expand our staff to meet the needs of our growing client base in Clark County.”
Wells Fargo Private Client Services provides banking, credit, investment management, brokerage, and trust and estate planning services to high value clients to meet their complex financial needs.
Wells Fargo was represented by Jack Gallagher of NAI-Norris, Beggs and Simpson’s Portland office. Vancouvercenter was represented by Tamara Fuller and Kirk Robertson, from the firm's Vancouver office.
